DANCERS

“Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker,” open auditions for performers age 6 to 18, Oct. 20, Ruth’s Dance and Fitness Co., 721 Boardman-Poland Road, suite 100 A, Boardman, 330-782-6785 or 330-550-1303. Rehearse with a Moscow Ballet Company member; student dancers perform side-by-side with professionals. Registration is at 10:30 a.m., and auditions take place at 11:30. Free open audition; cast fee is $50. If selected for the cast, performers must be available for rehearsals Oct. 20-21.

“A Christmas Story,” directed by Brendan Byers, Trinity Fellowship Church, 4749 South Ave., Boardman, 330-406-0606. Auditions will be at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 18. A few adult key roles need filled.
