AAA to offer free battery checks for automobiles

AAA East Central is a offering free battery and electrical system check on cars for Niles residents from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Niles AAA branch office, 937 Youngstown-Warren Road. Technicians will determine if attendees’ batteries are strong enough to endure the winter months. If needed, participants can purchase batteries on-the-spot.

Shepherd of the Valley to host ground breaking

Shepherd of the Valley will break ground for its new Liberty development at 2 p.m. Wednesday at 1501 Tibbetts Wick Road. The community will house independent living apartments, assisted living suites, a memory care suite and skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
