SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East, Youngstown, will meet for an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave. At noon, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Party with a gift exchange will be discussed. School supplies are needed. AARP members will attend the 10:30 a.m. church service Oct. 28 at Alpha Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., Youngstown. The Rev. Raymond Mason is the pastor. Guests and new members are welcome at meetings and bus trips. Annual membership dues of $7 will be collected. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Holy Family Seniors Group will meet Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Hostesses for this month’s meeting will be Judy Fields, Barb Iberis, Mary Sass, Josephine Sylvester and Janet Will. They are planning a Halloween celebration and encourage members to wear a costume for this event. Lunch will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games.
