Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. It is handicapped accessible.

Jessica Sowers, a holistic health and wellness coach and owner of Body Bliss Connection LLC, will speak from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cornelius Studio, 1931 Belmont Ave. The event is sponsored by Great Conjunction Spiritual Center, a nonprofit organization.

“How to Boost Your Immune System” will be the focus and will include the impact of food and lifestyle on our immune system as well as discovering techniques to proactively manage stress.

Cost is $20 per person and may be paid at the door. The event is open to the public.

Sutliff Museum lecture planned

The “Victorian Colections and Coffee” annual fall lecture series continues Tuesday at the Sutliff Museum on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. Speaker will be Richard Fleischer of Cortland on the topic of 19th Century transportation in Trumbull County.

Care Clinic is set for Wednesday

Westside Tire Service, 1109 Youngstown-Warren Road, will host a Ladies Car Care Clinic at 6 p.m. Wednesday. This is a hands-on class to learn about your vehicle, how it works, and how not to be intimidated or get ripped off at a service center. There will be a salad and baked potato bar available.

Crisis Shelter offers 2019 calendars

New Castle, PA.

The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County is selling Lottery Calendars for 2019. Calendar sales benefit victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and victims of other violent crimes.

For 2019, there is a new format for the calendars. They will temporarily be sold for January only for a donation of $10. Purchase a ticket from the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County this year, and participants will have a chance to win every day for the month of January.

The winner is based on the first evening three-digit drawing of the Pennsylvania State Lottery. If the winning ticket is not sold, the winnings will roll to the next day.
