Sheridans celebrate 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. William J. Sheridan of Struthers recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at a private dinner reception.

The couple’s children and their spouses, William (Katie) Sheridan of Frederick, Md.; James Sheridan of Boardman; and Michael (Kathy) Sheridan of Boardman, hosted the event.

Five grandchildren, Jessica, Stephen, John and Ella Sheridan of Frederick, and Michael Sheridan of Boardman, complete their family.

Mr. Sheridan and the former Leola “Lee” Bernard were married Aug. 29, 1953, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Sheridan worked for Stambaugh Thompson and Strausbaugh Motors before raising her family. She participated in the St. Patrick Church choir for more than 10 years.

Mr. Sheridan worked at the Campbell Works of Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co.. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
