Allen found not guilty in 2017 shooting death

YOUNGSTOWN — A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court has found Charles Allen, 24, not guilty of aggravated murder for the Aug. 29, 2017 shooting death of Tyreese Lynch, 22.

Lynch died after being shot in a car on Chicago Avenue.

Jurors deliberated only a short time before reaching their verdict.
