A Halloween-themed decorated gift bag and greeting card will be the craft project for the Monday Gettin’ Crafty get-together that meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Salem Public Library’s Quaker Room, 821 E. State St. All materials will be provided for this adult craft class that is open to the public and free of cost to attend. Registration is required online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for assistance. Getting’ Crafty classes meet the second Monday of each month.
Relay For Life meetings set

The Mahoning County Relay For Life team will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11 at the American Cancer Society office, 525 N. Broad St.
Library to host Wellness Wednesday

The Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host “Living with Hip and Knee Arthritis” for its Wellness Wednesday program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Dominic J. Peters of Salem Regional Medical Center. Registration is required and may be made online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for assistance.
The program will be open to the public and free of cost. Wellness Wednesday programs provide information about a variety of health and wellness topics. The programs take place on the second Wednesday of each month.
Library to host “Cutting the Cord”
SALEM
The Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host “Cutting the Cord,” a program for people considering moving away from cable or satelite television, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Brad Stephens, library director, will discuss various hardware devices, including SmartTV, Roku, Amazon FireStick, and AppleTV, as well as talking about selecting the right streaming service. The program will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
