‘We R Just Men’ at Rust Belt

Kristina Terlecki and Harold Davis star in the musical comedy “We R Just Men (Waiting at the Ladies Room for Our Wives)” being presented by Rust Belt Theater Company at Calvin Center, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. The musical, written by local playwright Harold Davis, was premiered in 2007. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. For reservations, call 330-507-2358. “We R Just Men” is being directed by Robert Dennick Joki, who also has a role in it. The show has been updated to include new scenes and also the best songs from Davis’ other musicals, as well as several new songs. The action takes place in the old Cloverleaf Restaurant in North Lima where Davis plays a recently deceased truck driver who presents his life in song to the audience. The audience then votes on whether the main character goes to heaven or hell. This decision gets difficult when the audience learns how Bill murdered his wife. The cast also includes Angelisa Beltran, Jack Rusk, Jessica Patoray, David Cirelli and Ryan Musgrove.
