Poland Fire Department hosts open house

The Poland Fire Department, located at 111 S. Main Street (across from Wittenauer's Cafe), is hosting an open house on Oct. 7 from 12-3 p.m. for adults and children of all ages.

There will be free food, a Jaws of Life demonstration, stove-top fire demonstration, fire safety house, explore fire trucks, meet firefighters and children can extinguish a house fire with a water hose. Participants can also meet Blaze, the department mascot. Activities will be offered throughout the afternoon.

This is a free event sponsored by the Poland Fire Department.
