Shinedown, Papa Roach to play Covelli in March

Hard rock band Shinedown will return to Covelli Centre on March 5 to headline a concert that will also include Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria.

Tickets are $53, $63 and $78.50 (plus applicable fees) and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Covelli box office.

Shinedown released its sixth album, “Attention Attention,” earlier this year. The Florida-based band, led by Brent Smith, has produced a slew of hit songs including “Save Me,” “Devour,” “I Dare You” and “Second Chance.”

The band has played Youngstown several times in the past decade, most recently a 2015 show at Covelli Centre.

Papa Roach’s long career includes hits ranging from “Last Resort” to “Lifeline” to “Help.” The band will release songs on Friday from its upcoming album, which will be released in early 2019.
