Polka dance, party will feature Box On and Del Sinchak Band

Box On and the Del Sinchak Band will perform at the next Polka with Peppermint show from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Avon Oaks, 1401 N. State St.

Michigan-based Box On is a musical family that combines youthful enthusiasm with a strong polka heritage, producing a danceable performance.

Youngstown’s Del Sinchak Band, a regional favorite for decades, has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the polka category.

Food and beverages will be available to purchase (no BYOB).

Next in the Polka with Peppermint series will be the Frank Stanger Orchestra, with the Del Sinchak Band, on Nov. 18.
