It’s impossible to overestimate America’s love for coffee. With that in mind, the folks at the Wallethub website have put together a report on the nation’s best coffee cities. Here are some fun facts from it:

v Lowest price: Tulsa, Okla., has the lowest average price for a pack of coffee, $3.38, which is 2.4 times lower than in Honolulu, the city with the highest at $8.16.

v Big spenders: Fremont, Calif., has the highest average annual spending on coffee per household, $186.85, which is three times higher than in Cleveland, the city with the lowest at $63.06.

v Single cup: Gilbert, Ariz., has the highest share of households that own a single-cup/pod-brewing coffee maker, 24.50 percent, which is 2.7 times higher than in Hialeah, Fla., the city with the lowest at 8.99 percent.

v Most shops: New York has the most coffee shops, coffee houses and cafes (per square root of population), 1.1791, which is 17.4 times more than in Laredo, Texas, the city with the fewest at 0.0678.

v Manufacturers: Portland, Ore., has the most coffee and tea manufacturers (per square root of population), 0.0209, which is 41.8 times more than in Riverside and San Bernardino, California, the cities with the fewest at 0.0005.

“Chicago Fire” (8 p.m., NBC): In the first part of a three-show, one-night crossover event, Firehouse 51 is faced with a daunting challenge when an out-of-control blaze consumes a 15-story apartment complex, trapping victims on the top floors. Complicating the rapidly escalating situation, members soon discover that someone close to home may be one of the trapped victims. The story continues at 9 p.m. on “Chicago Med” and at 10 p.m. on “Chicago PD.”

“Empire” (8 p.m., Fox): Cookie and Lucious learn the difficulties of launching an artist without Empire Entertainment’s resources, and their future with new artist Treasure (guest star Kaitlynn Simone) is jeopardized. So when they receive two interesting offers that will launch them back into power in the music industry, they make a surprising decision.

“Seal Team” (9:01 P.M., CBS): In the second season premiere, Jason and Bravo Team head to the Gulf of Guinea to rescue American hostages after an oil platform is overtaken by armed militants.

Jazz ensembles in free concert

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown State University Jazz Ensembles’ opening concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Kilcawley Center’s Chestnut Room. Admission is free.

The Jazz Ensembles, directed by Kent Engelhardt and Dave Kana, will feature music by Dana School of Music alumni Mike Kamuf, David Lalama and Jerry Ascione.

Kana’s ensemble will perform music by Thad Jones, Herbie Hancock, Kenny Dorham, and Sammy Nestico. Two of the arrangements were written by YSU alumnus Mike Kamuf.

Engelhardt’s ensemble will play music by Thad Jones, Sammy Nestico, and Bob Brookmeyer, as well as music by YSU alumni David Lalama and Jerry Ascione.
