Toy drive to offer Disney On Ice tickets

Disney On Ice is partnering with Project MKC (formerly Making Kids Count) to help make area children’s holidays a little brighter.
As an incentive to donate to its toy drive, a voucher redeemable for tickets to “Disney On Ice presents Frozen” will be given in exchange for a new, unwrapped toy.
The toys will be given to Project MKC’s Adopt-A-Family Program. “Disney On Ice presents Frozen” plays the Covelli Centre Thursday through Dec. 9.
The toy drive will take place Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Southern Park Mall, in the secondary food court near JC Penney,
Families will receive one ticket voucher per donation, and are allowed up to two vouchers per family.
Vouchers can be redeemed for tickets at the Covelli Centre box office, which is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A total of 200 ticket vouchers will be given out.
Continuing with the holiday spirit, Disney On Ice will provide tickets to Thursday’s opening night performance to the families of Project MKC’s Adopt-a-Family program.
“Disney On Ice presents Frozen” is an adaptation of the mega-hit animated movie.
The Covelli Centre performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 9. Tickets range from $17 to $57. To purchase, go to ticketmaster.com, call 800-745-3000 or go to the Covelli box office.
