A wedding ceremony and reception at The Lake Club took place May 19 as Halli Lockhart and Adam Pliml, both of Novelty, were joined in marriage.

Officiant was the Rev. David Ray.

Gary and Marilyn Lockhart of Poland are the bride’s parents.

The groom is the son of Gerald Pliml Jr. of Novelty and Sondra Pliml of Garfield Heights.

The bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown adorned with lace and beading.

The matron of honor, Nikki Lockhart, sister-in-law of the bride, and the bridesmaid, Katie Frantz, stepsister of the groom, wore spa-colored dresses.

James Sharpe served as best man, and Jason Lockhart, brother of the bride; and Charles Bromley, were groomsmen.

Mrs. Pliml graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is a librarian for the Geauga County Public Library.

Mr. Pliml graduated from KSU with a bachelor’s degree in educational studies. He works at Wiegand’s Lake Park as a park manager.
