Stage Left Players will revive its original holiday musical “Christmas at Mamaw Jo’s Stop-n-Go!” for two weekends, beginning Friday, at Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon. The bluegrass musical celebrates the McClelland family’s not-so-perfect holiday with their eldest boy’s deployment to Afghanistan. The setting is Mamaw Jo’s, a fictional fuel and convenience store, that serves coffee, gas and snacks to travelers and truckers. On Christmas eve, it is also a light in dark times for a young lady. Admission is $14 ($12 for seniors, $10 for students); reservations are recommended and can be purchased at StageLeftPlayers.org. For group rates, call 330-831-7249. Above, Jacob Ward and David Depanicis appear in a scene from the musical. The show is directed by Kandy Cleland and Jodine Pilmer. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and also Dec. 7 and 8; and 2 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 9.
