Christmas on the Farm, a craft and gift market, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Molnar Farms.

The event will feature more than two dozen local artisan vendors with hand-crafted gifts and decorations, including jewelry, handmade quilts, items made with hand-spun alpaca yarn, homemade goat’s milk soap, treats and more. Free and open to the public.

The 11th annual Small Town Christmas Tour will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Participants can tour a restored Queen Ann Victorian home and more. The event includes 11 stops.

Participants should pick up a card to be stamped and locator at Susie’s Gifts n Things, 24656 Georgetown Road. There will be opportunities to win gift baskets at each stop. Two churches will have home-cooked meals for a donation.

Retailers to host toy, book drive

Now throughout the holidays, Starbucks, Ghossain’s Gourmet Mediterranean Foods and Kraynak’s are hosting toy and book drives to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Each retailer is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys and books through Dec. 21 to be given to patients at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. Starbucks: participating locations include Boardman, Austintown, Canfield, Niles and Hermitage; Ghossain’s: participating locations include Boardman, Canfield and Niles; and Kraynak’s in Hermitage. Shelter offers calendars

The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County is selling Lottery Calendars for 2019. Calendar sales benefits victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and victims of other violent crimes.

For 2019, there is a new format for the calendars. They will temporarily be sold for January only for a donation of $10. Purchase a ticket from the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County this year, and participants will have a chance to win every day for the month of January.

The winner is based on the first evening three-digit drawing of the Pennsylvania State Lottery. If the winning ticket is not sold, the winnings will roll to the next day. Call 724-652-9206, ext. 100, to purchase tickets or for information.
