League hosts fundraiser

The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County recently held their fundraiser at Trumbull New Theater. The members wish to thank the community for helping make this fundraiser a success for the club. The funds raised are allocated for the voter information guide, which is a nonpartisan publication the club distributes throughout Trumbull County.

Library to host meeting

YOUNGSTOWN

The Nominating Committee of the Board of Trustees, Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will meet at 8:30 a.m., Nov. 27 in the meeting room of the main library.

The main library does not open until 9 a.m., so attendees should use the staff entrance in the rear of the building. The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss nominees to fill the vacant board seat.

Shoe drive to help those in need

Austintown Podiatry Associates doctors Karlock, Flauto, Arters and Associates are announcing a shoe drive. They are accepting new and gently worn shoes at all three offices. The shoes will be donated to people affected by the fires in California and the hurricane in Florida. Shoes can be dropped off at any of the locations during regular business hours. The Austintown office is at 1300 S. Canfield-Niles Road; Warren, 3802 Elm Road NE; and Boardman, 7010 South Ave., Suite 3.
