Shareks mark 50th anniversary with dinner

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Alex F. and Loretta Ann Sharek of New Castle, Pa., recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with an evening of dining and entertainment at The Rivers Casino. They also had marked the occasion earlier during a visit and dinner with Mrs. Sharek’s brother in Strongsville.

The former Loretta Ann Ezzo and Mr. Sharek were married Oct. 26, 1968, at St. Lucy Church in Mahoningtown, Pa.

She retired from the Pennsylvania State Department of Health, Division of Vital Statistics, where she was a Clerk 2 in the current registration unit and the accounting unit.

Mr. Sharek worked as a forklift operator for 221⁄2 years at Reynolds Food Packaging before he retired. He previously had worked for Alcoa.

The couple are members of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. They enjoy a variety of pastimes.
