Mr. and Mrs. Francis Buckley to celebrate 50th anniversary

WOOSTER

Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Buckley of Wooster will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a family dinner during Thanksgiving weekend. They also will take a family vacation to Ocean Isle, N.C., next July.

The couple’s children are Patrick (Stef) Buckley of Wooster, Bridget (Mike) Rhamy of Apple Creek and Michael Buckley of Port Murray, N.J. Three grandchildren, Kaden and Kellen Buckley and Abigail Rhamy, complete their family.

Mr. Buckley and the former Mary Ann Stiver were married Nov. 16, 1968, at St. Edward Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Buckley is a homemaker.

Mr. Buckley worked as a fireman and inspector for the Boardman Fire Department before retiring in April 2001. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-65. He belongs to 555 Honors Military Attachment of Wayne County and volunteers at the National Cemetery in Rittman.
