Jugenheimers honored for 70th anniversary

The 70th wedding anniversary of William and Alice Jugenheimer of Hubbard will be celebrated Nov. 25 at a reception by invitation at First United Methodist Church of Hubbard. Hosts for the event will be the couple’s family.

The Jugenheimers’ children are Larry (Mildred) Jugenheimer, Richard Jugenheimer and Glen (Margie) Jugenheimer, all of Hubbard.

Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren complete their family.

Mr. Jugenheimer and the former Alice Dale were married Nov. 11, 1948, at Youngstown Methodist Church.

She worked for Mott Robertson Ice Cream in Sharon, Pa., and was a homemaker. She belongs to the Happy Wanderers and the Over the Hill Gang.

Her husband worked for General Electric, Dial Fencing and Cavanaugh Co. He also was part owner of Sate Industrial Supplies and worked at All-Pro Sales and S&B Fasteners. He was the owner of Toy and Hobby Town and is a co-founder with his sons of Jugenheimer Industrial Supplies in Hubbard.

He also served as safety director in Hubbard and served on the Mahoning Valley Economic Development Committee and the Hubbard Zoning Board.

The couple are members of First United Methodist Church of Hubbard.
