Holiday art show, sale

YOUNGSTOWN

Artists of the Mahoning Commons’ annual holiday open studio and sale will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and again the following weekend, Nov. 25-26, in the Ward Bakery Building, 1024 Mahoning Ave. (across from the U-Haul building). Admission is free.

Artists will show paintings, jewelry, sculpture, pottery, fiber art, glass, soap, mixed media, drawings, prints, metal work, photography and custom woodwork.

Participating artists include Laurie Anderson, Tony Armeni, Rich Berg of Pancake Maple Farms, Lynn Cardwell, Carmichael Inc., Country Flavors, Susan Crisan of Sandpiper Soap Co., Jill Davis of Little Hummingbird Designs, Lisa and Brent Zitello of Fresh Prints Youngstown, Rick Fisher, Nick Levinsky of Urban Industrial Concepts, Maryann Limmer, Robyn Maas, Marcie Roepke-Applegate, Tracy Segreti, Fred Shepherd, Georgia Tambasis, Marianne Whitehouse and Noreen Yazvac.

The event will include music by Diane Drapcho and The Golden Familiar. Fresh baked artisan breads, pastries, cookies, pies and other treats will be sold.
