The Rayen School Class of 1973 will celebrate its 45-year reunion with a 3-day event Nov. 23 - 25. A meet-and-greet will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Nov. 23 in the first floor dining area at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. A Masquerade Dinner and Dance is planned for 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Avalon Inn, 9519 E. Market St., Warren. Music will be provided by the Matrix Band. Masks will be provided, or classmates may take their own. The final day will be a service at 11 a.m. Nov. 25 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., Youngstown. The Masquerade Dinner Dance event requires a $50 ticket purchase per person. Struthers High School Class of 1962 is planning a 75th birthday party dinner for 6 p.m. Sept. 5, 2019, at Donavito’s in downtown Struthers. The class also will meet at the Elmton from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. followed by a football game Sept. 6, 2019, and a catered picnic is planned for 1 to 7 p.m. Sept. 7, 2019, at Mauthe Park, 156 Smithfield St. Anyone interested in helping plan is encouraged to attend the meetings, which take place at 11:30 a.m. the first Monday of each month at Donavito’s.
