John Carroll 45, Baldwin Wallace 35

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS

Anthony Moeglin scored the go-ahead touchdown with 6:39 left to play on a 12-yard rushing touchdown for John Carroll (9-1). Moeglin rushed for 101 yards and two scores while passing for 92 yards. The Blue Streaks were paced by Michael Canagnelli’s 270 rushing yards and three TDs. Jake Hudson passed for 350 yards and five touchdowns with one interception as Baldwin Wallace (8-2) completed its best season since 2011.

Washington & Jefferson 33, Waynesburg 14

WAYNESBURG, PA.

The Presidents (9-1) won their 26 Presidents’ Athletic Conference title and clinched a Division III postseason bid. E.J. Thompson rushed for a career-high 186 yards and a touchdown while Jordan West added 138 yards and two TDs. Quarterback Jacob Adams threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. That interception was returned 45 yards for a touchdown by Waynesburg’s Logan Eller in the fourth quarter. Jordan Taylor had a 1-yard touchdown run for the Jackets (4-6).

Westminster 21, Geneva 7

BEAVER FALLS, PA.

Westminster (7-3) ended the regular season on a four-game winning streak. Freshman Cole Konieczka threw his first career touchdown passes. His first was a 58-yard strike to Connor Cox that broke a 7-7 stalemate. He added a three-yard touchdown pass to Joey Joy early in the fourth quarter and finished the game with 238 passing yards and no interceptions. Shamon Walker scored a 4-yard rushing touchdown for the Titans in the second quarter. East graduate John Fitzgerald had seven tackles and a forced fumble for the winning side. Trewan Marshall had a 23-yard touchdown run to provide the lone score for the Golden Tornadoes (2-7).

Grove City 42, Thiel 15

GROVE CITY, PA.

Grove City had a 28-point second quarter to hand Thiel an 0-10 season. Josh Ehst and Wesley Schools split six touchdowns. Ehst threw for 212 yards and two scores by air and scored on a QB sneak. Schools had 114 rushing yards and all of his touchdowns came on the ground for the Wolverines (7-3). Chris Rosales kicked a 26-yard field goal for Thiel. Nick Barca and Charles Debose each had a rushing touchdown in defeat.

Ohio Wesleyan 40, Hiram 12

DELAWARE

The Bishops scored 31 points before Hiram’s A.J. Daniels returned a kickoff 95 yards to break the shutout. Rodney Myers Jr. was the most productive offensive player for Hiram (2-8) with 103 yards passing with and interception and had 55 yards rushing in relief of Randy Tucker. Luther Fortson III caught eight passes for 102 yards. Jeremy Robinson passed for 145 yards and two touchdowns for Ohio Wesleyan (4-6).

Wittenberg 27, Wooster 21

WOOSTER

Wooster held 9-1 Wittenberg scoreless in the second half, but the Fighting Scots couldn’t overcome the early deficit. Wittenberg scored two defensive touchdowns, one was Troy Jones 31-yard pick six and Terrance Crowe took a fumble recovery 50 yards to the end zone. Antonio Bailey rushed for 171 yards and two scores for Wooster (5-5). Mateo Renteria threw a 12-yard pass to Russell Boston for the losing side.

Bethany College 35, Saint Vincent 0

BETHANY, W.VA.

Carlin Bason threw for 171 yards and four touchdowns and had a team-high 53 rushing yards for Bethany College (4-5). Joseph Fiasco threw a 1-yard TD pass on his only attempt. Saint Vincent (1-9) was limited to 86 yards.

Ashland 41, Northern Michigan 7

ASHLAND

Nick Powers had a hand in three Northern Michigan turnovers by pulling in two interceptions and recovered a fumble. Billy Bahl passed for 152 yards and four touchdowns for Ashland (6-4). Backup John Davies also threw a touchdown pass. Jake Mayon rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown for Northern Michigan.
