GIRARD

St. Rose Church in Girard was the setting at 3:30 p.m. May 11 as Monsignor John A. Zuraw solemnized the marriage ceremony of Julia Guerrieri and James Howe.

Tony and Tina Guerrieri of Girard are the bride’s parents, and the groom is a son of David and Anne Howe of Edinburgh, Scotland.

A reception took place at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland, and the couple departed for a honeymoon trip to Greece. They are living in Edinburgh.

The bride wore a princess-style gown of mikado silk designed with a Bateau neckline and crossover back with sheer panel detail. The skirt was designed with pockets, and a jeweled sash adorned the waist. She completed her attire with a chapel-length veil.

The groom and groomsmen wore kilts.

Jena Wade was her sister’s matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Amber Guerrieri, the bride’s sister-in-law; Giovanna DelBarbino; and Emily Cutrell.

Best man was Joe Boyle, and groomsmen were Dean Nodzak, Craig Mccafferty, Alex Walker and Michael Ford.

Mrs. Howe graduated from Slippery Rock University and is a Primary 1 teacher for Edinburgh city council.

A graduate of Napier University, Mr. Howe is the partnerships facilitator at Columba 1400 in Edinburgh.
