Buchenics mark 60th anniversary at family dinner

Michael and Catherine Buchenic were honored recently at a family dinner at The Chophouse in Warren in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the event were the couple’s children, Michael (Cindy) Buchenic of New Middletown, Lori (Dan) Fishel of Poland and Mark (Carla) Buchenic of Canfield.

Seven grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Marissa, Tyler, Kaylee and Alec Buchenic and Danielle Fishel, complete their familiy.

Mr. Buchenic and the former Catherine Ringos were married Nov. 8, 1958, at Holy Trinity Church in Struthers.

Mrs. Buchenic retired in 1994 from St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital where she was employed in the billing department.

Her husband is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was an agent with Nationwide Insurance before retiring in 1994. He also worked part-time in the circulation department of The Vindicator.

The Buchenics are members of Christ Our Savior/Holy Trinity Church in Struthers.
