ELECTION UPDATE | Term limits lead in city; fracking amendment losing


YOUNGSTOWN — With early votes counted, the Youngstown charter amendment to eliminate term limits for city council members is ahead 53 percent to 47 percent.

The proposal to get rid of term limits for council president is winning 54 percent to 46 percent.

The anti-fracking charter amendment, on the ballot for the eighth time, is losing again 53 percent to 47 percent.
