ELECTION UPDATE | More than 27K voted early in Mahoning Co.

YOUNGSTOWN — In Mahoning County, 27,874 people voted early.

The Democratic-controlled county has thrown its early-voting support to all statewide Democratic candidates. Leading the way is U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown with 68 percent of the vote.

Rich Cordray, the Democratic candidate for governor, has 61 percent of the vote with Republican Mike DeWine at 37 percent.
