ELECTION UPDATE | DeWine, Republicans led in Columbiana County's absentee ballots

COLUMBIANA

Mike DeWine and other Republicans led in Columbiana County's early/absentee ballot tallies.

DeWine garnered more than 58 percent of the vote to Richard Cordray's 38.3 percent.

Dave Yost nearly doubled Democrat Steve Dettelbach's votes at 62 percent to 37.9 percent.

Jim Renacci edged out Sherrod Brown at 53.4 percent to 46.4 percent in the U.S. Senate race, and Mike Rulli pulled 60 percent to John Boccierie's 39.3 percent in the 33rd state Senate district.
