Volunteers needed for museum exhibit
YOUNGSTOWN
The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help staff the Arms Family Museum during the Memories of Christmas Past exhibit. The exhibit has become a holiday tradition, and volunteers are needed to help welcome visitors, and assist with activities and events.
The exhibit is open Nov. 17 through Jan. 6. Volunteer shifts are available during the hours of noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours until 7 p.m. Thursdays. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least four shifts through the duration of the exhibit. All volunteers must attend one of two training sessions: Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m. or Saturday from 11 am. to noon. All volunteers will receive vouchers for free admission to the exhibit. Concert highlights music of WWI

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will present Joseph N. Rubin’s Orchestra for a performance of “Over There: The Music of World War I.” The concert will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St..
