Surprise party marks Loves’ 50th anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

Jim and Paula Love were the guests of honor Oct. 27 at a surprise dinner party with family and friends at Caffe Capri in Boardman in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the observance were the couple’s children and their spouses, Wendy and Chuck Sinito of Cleveland and Mark and Melissa Love of Kennesaw, Ga. Three grandsons complete their family.

Mr. Love and the former Paula McChristian were married Oct. 26, 1968, at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Love is a self-employed hairdresser, and her husband retired in 1998 from General Motors Corp. in Lordstown. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-72.

The couple are members of St. Brendan Church.
