CVMS seventh-graders defeat Niles
The Canfield Village Middle School seventh-grade football team recently traveled to Niles’ Bo Rein Stadium and came away with a 36-6 victory over the Red Dragons. Bindas tacked on the 2-point conversion for a 8-0 Cardinal lead. Canfield’s defense set up their next score when Inglis sacked the opposing quarterback forcing a fumble that was recovered by Nicky Beistel at the Cardinals 45. Bindas went to air once more finding Tyler Eikert with a 28 yard scoring toss to make it 14-0 midway through the second quarter.
