FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

THURSDAY

Aut Mori Grotto will host a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Cost is $10 per person and includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. All proceeds will benefit the Silver Lining Cancer Fund. Dine in or carryout will be available. FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.

SUNDAY

St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 U.S. Route 422, Pulaski, Pa., will host Ted's Strawberry Social and Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Menu includes French toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk or buckwheat pancakes, with choice of maple or strawberry syrup, scrambled eggs, eggs scrambled with peppers, onions and cheese; home fries, bacon sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juice and milk. Also includes shortcakes and ice cream. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a homestyle breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children under age 12. Menu includes eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea.

Simon Road Church of God, 4750 Simon Road, Boardman, is taking orders for nut and apricot kolachi for $10 each. To order, call Linda at 330-758-5108, Ronni at 330-758-7447 or Wendy at 330-757-2470. Pick up will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday.
