Easy Street offers a cabaret show

YOUNGSTOWN

A cabaret show featuring Josh Lewis and the Federal Street Blues will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Overture Restaurant, in the DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 W.Federal St., downtown.

Tickets are $25 for table seating. Call 330-744-0264 for reservations, or go to youngstownsymphony.com.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will also be sold at the door if available.

Lewis and guests will sing songs of love, heartache, strength and friendship by Etta James, Carole King, Michael Buble and more.

Guest vocalists will include Kristen Blackwood and Jody Lewis. Pianist Kevin Shields will lead an ensemble consisting of Craig Conrad, bass; Kelvin Newell, drums; and Tim Harker, saxophone.

The Youngstown-based string ensemble the Stellar Strings will also perform.

Each show in the monthly cabaret series, presented by Easy Street Productions, includes a wait staff serving drinks. Guests can also order from a small plates menu.

Comedy show will feature JR Junior

A comedy show, featuring JR Junior, with co-hosts Jon Huff and Orlando Wimbush, will take place Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Nic’s Lounge, 1629 N. Main St. Admission is $5.

The lineup will also include Fred Phred, Tom Jones, Alex K, Spyder Jones, Carlos Rivera, MR Oleskool, Randall Parrish, Lex Godoy, Ryan Weiss, Richie Santana, Suami, Jenna Cintavey and Vaughn Wesley.
