BASEBALL

BASKETBALL
Penn-Ohio Athletic Club — will conduct basketball skills camps for girls and boys entering grades K-9 from June 27-30 at Kennedy Catholic High School. The girls camp will be from 9 a.m. -noon and the boys camp from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $75 and includes a basketball, t-shirt and awards. Canfield Local Schools — will hold a youth basketball camp June 20-22 at Canfield Village Middle School. Camp is open to boys in grades 3-8 during the 2018-19 school year. Camp for grades 6-8 will be 8 to 11 a.m. and grades 3-5 will be noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $45 per camper. A $5 charge will be added to all registrations received after June 2 and/or walks in on the first day of the camp. Lakeview High School — is running its annual summer boys basketball camp at Lakeview from Tuesday-Friday. The camp is open to boys grades four-eight. The camp will take place from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Cost is $60 per camper and includes a t-shirt and possible daily prizes. Checks payable to Lakeview Athletic Boosters. Warren JFK — will host its 2018 Summer of Skill beginning June 4 at Gillen Gymnasium. Instructors include Eagles boys head coach Mark Komlanc, former Warren JFK player and current YSU player Justin Bofenkamp and Anthony Pugh of Clockwork Athletics. Sessions will be scheduled in advance between the hours of 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Cost is $35 per individual session, $15 per person for a small group (two to four individuals), $10 per person for a group session (five to 10 individuals). YSU Summer Day Camps — YSU will host a youth camp (ages 5-12) from 9 a.m.-noon on July 12 at the Watson and Tressel Training Site. Cost is $20 for YSU employees and $30 for non-YSU employees. Register at www.PenguinsTrackCamps.com. YSU also will host a Summer Night High Jump & Throws Camp from 6-9 p.m. on July 13 at the WATTS. Cost is $85 ($75 if registered by June 15).
