JUNE

3 — Officer Justin Leo Scholarship Fund Golf Outing at Bedford Trails Golf Course. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the 2019 Justin Leo Memorial Scholarships, which are awarded to Girard High School seniors. The first round starts at 8 a.m., and check-in is at 7:30. The second round starts at 2 p.m., with check-in at 1:30. Teams can have up to four players. The outing offers beer, pop, a boxed lunch and dinner, prizes, a 50-50 raffle and an auction in addition to golf. Cost is $70 for a single entry and $280 for a team. Dinner only is $25. 4 — Northeast Ohio Golf Classic Scramble at the Youngstown Country Club. The four-person scramble style tournament will consist of 18-holes and begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. For $250 per person and $1,000 for a team of four.

6 — Youngstown Baseball Old-Timers Scramble at 10 a.m. at Mill Creek Golf Course. Call 330-540-8751 for more information.

9 — Cardinal Mooney Golf Team Scramble at Mill Creek Golf Course. Registration at noon and shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team and includes lunch and dinner. 9 — O.H. Division #6 Monsignor Thomas F. Kelly Memorial Golf four-person scramble at Knoll Run Golf Course. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $70 per player. Lunch, dinner, beverages and 18 holes with cart included. For more information, call Jim McGuinness at 330-770-8155.

11 — 20th annual Annual Suzi Solomon Golf Classic at Squaw Creek-Avalon Golf and Country Club. An impact dinner will be held following the Golf Classic. Included will be live and silent auctions and raffles. Lunch and registration begin at 11:30 a.m. Tee time is 12:45 p.m. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. The cost is $185 per person for golf and dinner. Dinner only is $60 per person.

18 — 36th annual Boardman Boosters Golf Scramble at Tippecanoe Country Club. Registration and lunch at noon, shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner at 6 p.m. Cost is $500 per team ($125 per player). Dinner only is $25. First-place team wins a foursome of golf at Tippecanoe. Second-place team wins $200. Checks payable to Boardman Booster Club. 23 — 14th annual New Bethel Baptist Church Golf Scramble at Pine Lakes Golf Club. Registration and continental breakfast at 9 a.m. Tee times from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Cost is $70 per person and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, golf, cart and skill contests. JULY

6 — Third annual Veterans’ Outreach Golf Scramble at Mahoning Country Club. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $55 per person or $220 per team until June 6. After June 6, the cost is $60 per person and $240 per team. Meal only is $20 per person. Skill contests, 50/50 drawing, basket raffles and donuts and coffee will be available. 14 — 35th annual William Penn Association Golf Tournament at Kennsington Golf Course. The registration fee if paid by May 25 for WPA members for the Friday night welcome reception, golfing fee, cart, snack at the turn and Saturday’s banquet is $75. Cost for non-WPA members is $85. After May 25, cost would be $88 and $98. If only attending Friday’s reception cost is $10. If only attending Saturday’s banquet cost for WPA members is $25 and non-members is $35.
