South Side woman beaten Wednesday afternoon
YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a Chicago Avenue woman Wednesday was covered in cuts, bruises and mud after she was beaten by an ex-boyfriend.
Officers were called about 3:15 p.m. to the 23-year-old victim's home, where she said the boyfriend got upset after she said she didn't want to get back together with him so he picked her up, threw her off the porch, slammed her into the driveway several times and into the hood of his car.
The victim was covered in mud and had bruises and cuts on her face, shoulders and head, reports said. Reports said she declined medical treatment but she did want to press charges.
