v “Vinegar Tom” (Feb. 22-March 10): This play explores issues surrounding gender inequality with inspiration from the 17th century English witch trials.

v “Sunday in the Park with George” (March 15-24): A musical about a fictionalized version of real-life artist George Seurat, and the creation of his most famous piece, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.”

v “History Boys” (April 5-14): With the unconventional guidance of their teachers, students at an English prep school use education to inspire personal growth and wisdom, and to help them through painful experiences.

"The Simpsons” (8 p.m., Fox): Ghosts from the past seek vengeance and only Bart can help them get it in the season finale.
