UPDATE | Hundley says another man was at death scene

YOUNGSTOWN

Both sides have rested in the Lance Hundley capital murder trial in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court after Hundley testified most of this morning.

Closing arguments are expected Monday.

Hundley today testified that he was "choked out" as he was sleeping, and when me came to a man walked out the room of the woman he is accused of killing.

Hundley told jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court that he next saw that man in a car with his stepfather; and that Huff's mother, Denise Johnson, also had a gas can and told Hundley to work with her to tell the police a story.

Hundley, 48, of Warren, could be sentenced to death if he is convicted of killing Huff, 41, on Nov. 6, 2015, in her Cleveland Street home. He is also accused of beating Johnson with a hammer and stabbing her.

His testimony is continuing. Judge Maureen Sweeney is hearing the case.
