Barnes & Noble hosts book signing

Barnes & Noble has partnered with Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown and is announcing a book signing with Craig Snyder, former boxer, and other boxers from Youngstown that will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from sales will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown. Harry Arroyo, Jeff Lampkin, Greg Richardson and Kelly Pavlik will be among the guests that will attend.

Chipotle to support animal rescue

F5RS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill rescue and sanctuary for pocket pets, parrots and rabbits will partner with Chipotle, 525 Boardman-Poland Road, from 4 to 8 p.m. May 26 for a fundraiser. Patrons can let the cashiers know they are supporting the rescue and Chipotle will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from each order to the cause. Online orders will not be included in the fundraiser total. To ensure a purchase is counted, order and pay in-restaurant. Gift-card purchases during fundraisers do not count toward total donated sales, but purchases made with an existing card will count.

Library announces upcoming programs

LISBON

West Side Cats needs volunteers

West Side Cats, a nonprofit non-kill cat rescue, is looking for volunteers to help care for rescue cats and kittens. Any amount of hours available will be acceptable. Also needed are foster volunteers. For information, call Marie at 330-519-5002.
