Austintown Fitch High School Class of 1978 will host its 40th reunion beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. The picnic-style event will take place in the club’s enclosed pavilion and surrounding grounds and will include dinner, prizes and a cookie table. A cash bar also will be available. Boardman High School Class of 1968 will meet for its 50th reunion during a “Those Were the Days” weekend, Aug. 3, 4 and 5. A meet and greet will take place Aug. 3 at Johnny’s Restaurant; Aug. 4 will be morning golf and breakfast at Mill Creek Park Golf Course, an afternoon tour of the old Boardman High School building, and dinner and dancing that evening; and Aug. 5 will be brunch at the Holiday Inn Boardman.
