YOUNGSTOWN

The driver of a car that struck and killed an Ohio Department of Transportation worker clearing brush in March on Interstate 680 will face a misdemeanor traffic charge.

City Prosecutor and Law Director Jeff Limbian said Daniel Bondi, 73, will face a misdemeanor charge of vehicular homicide for the accident that killed John Pasko, 53, of Salem.

Pasko was killed about 12:35 p.m. March 16 after an SUV driven by Bondi that was traveling south on the interstate hit Pasko, who was part of an ODOT brush clearing crew under the Market Street Bridge.
