Gun fired after argument yields charges
BOARDMAN
A man will face charges after police say he fired a gun into the air early this morning following a domestic dispute.
Police responded to a Shields Road address about 1:10 a.m. this morning where a woman told police Jacob Adolphsen, 26, had left their home after a verbal argument toward Forest Lawn Cemetary.
Police found Adolphsen, who told them he had shot his gun in the air and threw it in the woods, according to a police report.
Officers reported a strong odor of alcohol coming from Adolphsen.
Adolphsen was taken to the hospital because he cut himself while breaking plates in his kitchen.
He will face charges of using weapons while intoxicated and inducing panic.
