Circle of Friends Foundation awards grant

The Children’s Mental Health Circle of Friends Foundation recently awarded a $55,000 grant to Alta Behavorial Healthcare at its annual board meeting. The foundation supports area organizations that further its mission to improve the quality of and access to prevention, education and treatment services for children and teens who are at risk or have emotional and behavioral problems. Alta Care Group is its primary beneficiary. The program supports families who are at risk of out-of-home placement for children with emotional and behavioral problems. The foundation is planning its major fundraiser, the John and Cathy Pelusi Celebrity Golf Scramble, which will take place July 9 at The Lake Club in Poland.
