Phantoms win in overtime

Nicholas Cardelli's second goal of the game lifted the Youngstown Phantoms to a 3-2 overtime victory over the Fargo Force on Saturday.

The Phantoms earned a split on the road in the first two games of the USHL's Clark Cup Final. Friday, Fargo won, 4-1.

Games 3 and 4 will be played on Friday and Saturday at the Covelli Centre.

Eric Esposito's second-period goal gave the Phantoms a 2-1 lead. But with 52 seconds remaining in regulation, the Force forced sudden-death overtime when Griffin Loughran tied the game.
