Murrays mark golden wedding anniversary

CANFIELD

Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Murray of Canfield recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a Kentucky Derby party with their family.

The couple have one daughter, Michelle (Kurt) Purcell of Dublin, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Corey Purcell of Anaheim, Calif., and Maddie Purcell of Dublin.

Mr. Murray and the former Janet Pedaline were married May 4, 1968, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Murray graduated from Youngstown State University. She retired as a recreation leader from the Elk Grove Senior Center in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Mr. Murray graduated from California Western University and retired after 37 years with W.W. Grainger in Chicago.

The couple have spent their retirement traveling the world.
