Squiric allowed one run on six hits in six innings. Nate Solak went 2 for 3 at the plate to lead the Rockets. Jake Cartalo singled for Mineral Ridge. Lowellville will play St. Thomas Aquinas in a district semifinal on Thursday at Cene Park.

Nick Thomas allowed one run on six hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one for St. Thomas Aquinas. Lisbon pitcher Logan Bell allowed four runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out 10. Tyler Welsh and Bell each collected multiple hits for Lisbon. Welsh went 3 for 3 to lead the Blue Devils. Max Kucyznski and Thomas each managed multiple hits for Aquinas. Kucyznski went 3 for 3.

POLAND
Boardman won a share of the All-American Conference Red Tier. Boardman pitcher Travis Harvey struck out two and walked one in 3 1/3 innings of relief. Luke Cardillo hit a grand slam in the fifth inning. He finished with five RBIs. Mike Melewski was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Spartans (16-9). Connor Miller was 2 for 3 with two RBIs. Miller and Melewski both had doubles. Poland’s Reed McCreery was 2 for 3 with three RBIs. Branden O’Shaughnessy was 4 for 4 with two doubles.

CHARDON
Alex Hernandez had two hits and two RBIs, Angelo Petracci had two hits and Dom Pilolli had an RBI triple to pace the Cardinals’ 10-hit attack. Anthony Longo picked up the win with three scoreless innings of relief for Canfield (16-7).

NILES
Marco DeFalco and Joe Gallo each drove in three runs as the Red Dragons clinched the championship in the All-American Conference’s White Tier. Nick Guarnieri had two RBIs and David Mays and Luke Swauger each had one. Dillon Weida struck out three in a complete game for Niles. Weida allowed one run on four hits and four walks. Lukas Mosora drove in Hubbard’s only run.

Nolan Clegg drove in two runs and tripled for Toronto. Chase Franken had three hits for Columbiana (12-14).

POLAND
Poland hit four home runs in the game, including a three-run homer by Sarah Boccieri in the third inning. Brooke Bobbey hit a solo homer and Ally Nittoli and Camryn Lattanzio each hit a two-run shots. Monica Kurjan picked up the win and Taylor Thorpe the loss. Both pitched a complete game. Salem scored in the first inning on a double by Hayden Carner. Poland will play West Branch in a district semifinal Thursday at Alliance.

BELOIT
West Branch pitcher Kelsey Byers struck out 10 and allowed two hits and a walk. Howland pitcher Gabbie Hartzell allowed 10 hits and four walks. Grace Heath and Destiny Blake had three RBIs each for the Warriors (21-1). Byers was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Howland’s Emily O’Connell was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Cait Kelm struck out seven and walked one for Lakeview in a sectional final win. Tori Wells had three hits and two RBIs for the Bulldogs. Beady Titus had two hits and drove in two runs. Avrey Steiner had three hits for Lakeview (12-6). Annie Pavlansky, McKenna Cannon and Kelm each had two hits. Marissa Zoccali, Wells and Kelm each had doubles. Anna Egensperger struck out two and walked one for the Lions. Lakeview will play Jefferson or Gilmour Academy in a district semifinal Thursday in Jefferson.

Pitcher Machayla Kehrer struck out eight and walked two in a complete game as the Vikings clinched the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference title. Megan Ward had nine strikeouts and two walks in a complete game for the Blue Devils (14-5, 11-3). Ward also had two singles. Laura Hood hit a triple and had three RBIs for Waterloo (15-3, 12-2). Brooke Twichell had a single and a double. Amber Cieplinski and Stephanie Misock each had two singles.

BEAVER TOWNSHIP
Bree Kohler pitched a complete game, allowing just one hit and striking out 12 for South Range (18-6). Kohler added two singles and a lead-off home run for the Raiders. Abbey Bokros drove in two runs and Hanna Dennison added two hits.

Brittany Cooper had three hits, including a home run for Grand Valley. Cooper also drove in two runs. Madison Karr had three hits and two RBIs for Badger.

In the Division I sectional, Canfield’s Tim Cianciola easily won his first two matches at Canton’s Harvard Park. First, Cianciola defeated Dover’s Shawn Crous, 6-0, 6-0. Then he breezed past Alliance’s Sam Denny, 6-0, 6-0. Friday, Cianciola advanced to the semifinals by defeating Marlington’s Ryan Heakin, 6-0, 6-0. Today, he’ll compete for a seed at next week’s district play. Austintown Fitch’s Makele Scruggs lost to Massillon Perry’s Ethan Scheck, 6-1, 6-0. Boardman’s Andy Beichner won his opening match, defeating New Philadelphia’s Nick Benks, 6-1, 7-5. But Beichner’s was eliminated by Heakin, 6-0, 6-0. Boardman’s Anthony Amendola lost to Wooster’s Andrew Symonds (6-0, 6-2) and Fitch’s John McMullen was ousted by Alliance’s Lawyer Penird (6-1, 6-0).
