Capitals oust two-time defending champion Penguins

PITTSBURGH — Evgeny Kuznetsov scored the winning goal in overtime as the Washington Capitals beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 on Monday night to oust the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions from the playoffs.

The Capitals won the series, 4-2.
