Sebastian Lay surpassed 100 strikeouts for the season by striking out 19 batters for Jackson-Milton (10-9). He gave up one hit and walked none. Leetonia’s lone run was unearned. Joey Williams hit two doubles and Lay and Seth Pifer each hit one. Toby Hickman had the hit for the Bears (1-15).

STRUTHERS
Jeremy Kruezwieser and Andy Sabella each had two hits and two RBIs for the Irish (8-15). Sabella had a double and Vince Armeni singled twice for Ursuline. Dom Velasquez doubled and drove in two runs for Western Reserve.

LOUISVILLE
Louisville won in walk-off fashion. Jered Bajerski and Ben Rivera each had two hits for South Range.
Hubbard 10, Jefferson 0
HUBBARD
Ryan Halavick struck out five and walked three in the win for the Eagles (14-9, 6-3 All-American Conference White Tier). Andrew Vance struck out two and walked one for Jefferson (10-5, 7-4). Evan Jarvis, Tim Herberger and Nick Ferrara each had two RBIs for Hubbard. Jarvis had three hits, Herberger, Jamie Thomson, Lukas Mosora and Shannon Slovesko had two hits each. Jarvis, Mosora, Ferrara and Anthony Corrin each doubled.
Mathews 11-4, Heartland Christian 0-2
VIENNA
Adam Wibert struck out four in Mathews’ first win. Chris Ritz had two hit and Brandon Smith hit a double. Heartland Christian’s Hayden Stewart walked one and didn’t record a strikeout. Heartland Christian’s Aaron Gault had a single and an RBI Caleb Graft had a single. In Game 2, Mathews opened the scoring with a nine-run second inning. Zach Rhodanz struck out five in the win for the Mustangs (16-3). . Dillon Canter had two hits, including a double, and drove in three RBIs. Dan Canter and Ritz each had two RBIs. Heartland Christian is 3-8.
North Allegheny (Pa.) 12, Howland 0
WEXFORD, PA.
Brett Heckert had two hits, including a homerun along with three RBIs for North Allegheny. Luke Trueman, Caiden Wood, Justin Hamm, and Turner White drove in two runs each. For Howland, Frankie Manios had two hits.
Newbury 7-3, Badger 2-2
KINSMAN
Matt Fink was the winning pitcher in game one for Newbury, pitching eight innings and striking out four. Fink also drove in four runs and had three hits. Fink had the save in game two which went eight innings. Owen Mansfield had an RBI in game two for Newbury (7-7).

Cardinal Mooney 12-16, Akron Firestone 1-1
BOARDMAN
Conchetta Rinaldi’s five hits included two home runs and two doubles across both games. The home runs give her 10 for the season, tying the school record with Christina Hrehor in 2009. CJ Sapp had three hits in the second game. Kayla Rutherford struck out 13 and allowed one hit in game one while Maddie Filisky and Sophia Pallotta combined to throw a one-hitter in game two.
Austintown Fitch 11-2, Hudson 4-4
HUDSON
Trailing 2-1 in Game 1, the Falcons scored three runs in the top of the fourth to take the lead. Fitch’s Ashley Fuller hit a grand slam, double and a single for six RBIs. Lydia Spalding and LeeAnna Franken each had two singles. Christina Tucker hit a double and single with an RBI. Spalding got the win for the Falcons and Hudson’s Kacie Roth took the loss. Ashley Fuller and Jenna Chmelik pitched for Fitch in Game 2. Madison Roukey got the win for Hudson. Spalding had two singles with an RBI and Fuller had a double, two singles and an RBI. Roukey hit a double and three singles.
South Range 12, Howland 1
LIBERTY
South Range pitcher Bree Kohler struck out five and walked one in five innings at the Mahoning Valley Invitational. Howland pitcher Gabby Hartzell had one strikeout and four walks. Drew Feren had a double and two RBIs while Julie Centofonti had a single and two RBIs for the Raiders (15-6). Kohler had a double and two singles, Madison Weaver hit a triple and a single and Abbey Bokros had two singles. Howland’s Bailee Beasom had a double and two singles.
Champion 4-12, Walsh Jesuit 0-2
CUYAHOGA FALLS
Sophie Howell picked up the win for the Golden Flashes in Game 1. Howell struck out nine and walked two. Walsh Jesuit pitcher Alyssa Lavdis struck out eight in the loss. Champion’s Abbi Grace had two hits and three RBIs. Maddy Schmeiser had three hits, including two doubles, for Walsh Jesuit. Allison Smith, Cassidy Shaffer, Abby White and Carli Swipas all had doubles for the Golden Flashes. In Game 2, Smith struck out eight for Champion (18-0). Angela Vitantonio struck out two in the loss for Walsh Jesuit (15-8). Megan Turner had for hits, including a home run and four RBIs. Smith also hit a home run and drove in four. Riley Zanah hit a homer and drove in two for Walsh Jesuit.

LORDSTOWN
Lordstown’s Lexie Ensign went 3 for 3 with six RBIs and three runs scored. Lexie Drewek drove in two runs for the Red Devils and Jess Wilk had an RBI. Ashlee Lennox drove in three runs to lead Badger. Madison Karr, Brooke Morgan and Lauren Elser each had two RBIs. Lennox pitched 32/3 scoreless innings. Lordstown’s Jessica Hess allowed 10 runs, six earned, on 14 hits and two walks in seven innings in the win.
