Kymberly Hoffman and Robert Switka, both of Boardman, were united in marriage Sept. 30, 2017, during a ceremony that was officiated by the Rev. Robert Quaintance at Good Hope Lutheran Church. A reception took place that evening at the Vineyards at Pine Lake.

The groom is a son of the late Robert G. Switka. Kenneth and Karla Hoffman of Boardman are the parents of the bride.

The bride wore an ivory and gold lace gown that featured a a sheer back detailed with buttons. It was embellished with beaded lace appliques and a Swarovksi crystal sash. The skirt extended to a chapel train, and a matching headpiece held her fingertip veil.

Tessa Lowry was maid of honor. Bridemaids were Elise Keller; Elizabeth Kelly, and Emily Wollett, the bride’s cousins; Amanda Treharn; and Jamie Garrod. Julie Basissta and Leelee Marucci, cousins of the bride, were junior bridesmaids, and flower girls were Skyla and Annaliese Rothaar, also cousins of the bride.

The attendants’ dresses were champagne and blush.

Kenneth Hoffman, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Alex Frey, Michael Metzinger, Troy Macklin, Patrick O’Brien and Steve Gruver. Joshua Rothaar, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Switka graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care and is certified in polysomnography studies. She works at Mercy Health Boardman Hospital.

Mr. Switka graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in public health and a master’s in hospital administration. He is employed at Mercy Health Youngstown Hospital.

The couple honeymooned in Florida and reside in New Springfield.
