“The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling, Part 1” (8 p.m., HBO): This four-hour documentary by the groundbreaking comedian’s friend Judd Apatow includes interviews with James L. Brooks, Linda Doucett, David Duchovny, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jay Leno, Kevin Nealon, Conan O’Brien, Bob Saget, Sarah Silverman and Jeffrey Tambor. Part 2 airs Tuesday.

“The Alienist” (9 p.m., TNT): This excellent and atmospheric period detective story concludes its first season. Let’s hope the killer doesn’t get away.

“The Terror” (9 p.m., AMC): The two-hour premiere of this series centers on the Royal Navy’s perilous voyage into uncharted territory as the crew attempts to discover the Northwest Passage.

“The Good Doctor” (10 p.m., ABC): In the season finale, the team at St. Bonaventure needs to quickly discover the truth behind a young college student’s unexplained injuries before his condition worsens.

Dwight Yoakam concert rescheduled

Last month’s postponed Dwight Yoakam concert at Packard Music Hall has been rescheduled for Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

The concert was originally scheduled for Feb. 22, but the country music artist was unable to perform because he had bronchitis and laryngitis.

Tickets are $85, $59 and $39 (plus applicable fees) and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, and at the Packard box office, 1703 Mahoning Ave. Tickets that have already been purchased will be honored at the Oct. 2 concert.

Dana orchestra concert canceled

The Dana Symphony Orchestra’s concert scheduled for Wednesday evening at Powers Auditorium has been canceled.
